For He is The Creator of what’s good
Who because of sin offered Jesus
His beloved Son to save our kind
Oh throughout world history
Others were placed on pedestals
But only Jesus can bring us joy
Protecting us from cancerous sin
And as The Spirit via His followers
Wrote the New Testament of His word
Our Lord established His Church upon
Peter to ensure His truth would be heard.
